**To share this story: By Jeri Lyn Rogge Nineteen blind camp participants from locations across the United States arrived at winter blind camp at Camp Au Sable on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017. A highlight of the camp was two excursions to nearby Challenge Mountain, a facility specially designed to offer adaptive recreational activities such as downhill and cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and snowboarding. Campers were also able to forge new friendships and rekindle old connections through social opportunities and shared experiences such as salt dough crafting, swimming, and group worships

Through the lens of cinematographer Tanya Musgrave, a 2011 graduate, this docudrama highlights Bonhoeffer’s last days from the perspective of a British intelligence black propaganda radio station team

Photo provided by Washington Adventist University Washington Adventist University’s WGTS 91.9 FM radio station recently teamed up with Compassion International to host a Day of Compassion event. For two days, the station spotlighted the stories of children who are growing up in poor areas of the world, and it gave listeners the opportunity to help meet the needs of nearly 1,000 of them. “The WGTS listening family has shown, once again, how generous they truly are,” said Kevin Kruger, WGTS general manager. “We are grateful to be a part of something so powerful and life-changing for so many children around the world.” Compassion International helps empower more than 1.9 million children world-wide through programs that provide food, medical care, Christian education, skills training and spiritual guidance
