Andrews University Names Its First Vice President for Diversity & Inclusion

**To share this story:     Michael Nixon has been named the new vice president for Diversity & Inclusion at Andrews University. Photo provided by Andrews University     On July 6, 2017, Andrews University President Andrea Luxton announced that Michael Nixon has accepted the invitation to serve as the university’s first vice president for Diversity & Inclusion. He will begin in this position on August 1, 2017.

May 3, 2017:    Barry Todd Durrell, a deacon at an Adventist church in Houston, Texas has been charged with super aggravated sexual assault and continuous sexual abuse of a child.
