Condolences of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in connection with the tragedy in Magnitogorsk.
The following statement was made by the Euro-Asia Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church after a gas explosion ripped through an apartment building in southern Russia on December 31. 31 people have now been confirmed dead and 10 still listed as missing.
With deep sorrow, the Seventh-day Adventist Christians, along with all the Russian people, received the news of the tragic events that took place on December 31, 2018 in Magnitogorsk.

Troubled Resolutions
It’s a familiar story. Perhaps your holiday season was much like it. Christ was visiting with dear friends. There was much hustle and bustle. The death rate from heart disease has been dropping for the past few decades, and it will soon be overtaken by the malady that’s now the second-biggest killer in the United States: cancer.
