Commentary: An Unforgettable Christmas
It was approaching midnight on Christmas Eve and our excitement was palpable. I was 6 years old and already fully versed in capitalism: a deep desire for more toys. We were celebrating Christmas with a group of families from the military. However, my parents failed to think that through.
