Southwestern Celebrates Milestone at Dinosaur Research Project Dig

**To share this story:   Drake Smith marks his find at the 21st SWAU summer dinosaur dig with GPS coordinates. Photo provided by Southwestern Adventist University   Southwestern Adventist University’s annual dig for dinosaur bones in northeastern Wyoming commenced on June 1 and will run through the month. Art Chadwick, Southwestern research professor, with the support of other professors from Southwestern, Loma Linda University, and Southern Adventist University, has led the project since he started it in 1996. During this, the 21 st  dig season, a new milestone was achieved

New President Announced For Adventist University of Health Sciences

June 27, 2017:   Orlando-based Adventist University of Health Sciences (ADU) has announced the selection of its new president. Dr. Edwin Hernández, the current provost of ADU will succeed Dr. David Greenlaw, the founding president of the institution, as he retires on July 31st, 2017.

Meyerson Concert Performs World Premiere of "I Believe"

**To share this story:     Southwestern Adventist University performance at Meyerson Symphony Center Photo provided by Southwestern Adventist University   Southwestern Adventist University, located in Keene, Texas, broke a fundraising record as it celebrated the 24th annual tradition of “A Night at the Meyerson” with the world premiere of  I Believe , the newest composition by renowned Latvian composer Ēriks Ešenvalds. The words to  I Believe  were found on the wall of a cellar in the concentration camp in Cologne after World War II. I Believe is a testimony of faith, written by a prisoner who held fast to their belief in God in the midst of some of history’s most appalling trials
