Story-telling is one of the most effective ways to convey truths about God. This is evidenced by the fact that Jesus used parables and stories as his primary means to illustrate what He wanted to share. But some question if using drama in the church is appropriate.

What do you do with a dying church? Leaders and members of the Elmshaven Seventh-day Adventist knew their days were numbered if things didn’t change. Their attendance was dwindling, and the prospects that things would turn around were bleak. But closing a church was the last thing they wanted to do. In order to survive, they knew that their concept of church needed to change, and their idea of ministry needed to be re-visioned, re-focused and re-energized.
