A good vegan replacement for chocolate pancakes…kids should love these.
1 1/4 C whole wheat pastry flour
1/3 C soy milk powder
1-2 Tbsp milled sugar cane
1/4 C carob powder
1 Tbsp EnerG Egg Replacer and 3 Tbsp of ground flax seeds mixed with 3 Tbsp of water
2 Tsp EnerG baking powder
l/2 tsp salt
6 Tbsp non-dairy carob chips
1 1/4 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
In a large bowl combine dry ingredients In a small bowl combine wet ingredients. Stir wet ingredients into dry and mix until moistened. Fry on a hot griddle and cook on both sides until done. Watch cooking carefully so not to burn pancake.

Your family will be delighted with the taste of this recipe!
2 1/2 C cold water
1/2 C cashews
3 Tbsp yeast flakes
2 tsp chicken-style seasoning
3/4 tsp onion powder
1/2 C soy flour
1/3 C cornmeal
1/2 C whole wheat flour
Blend 1/2 C water with nuts until very creamy. Add water, seasonings and flours while blending. Pour onto greased pan 1/2″ thick.
Bake at 375 degrees for 35-45 minutes.
