Are Adventists Old-Covenant Christians? (part 4)
In the previous two posts, 1 we reviewed the major systems of covenant thought in the Protestant tradition. Image © Linda Lovett from GoodSalt.com We split the systems into categories A and B – “A” being those that affirm the perpetuity of the law and “B” representing those that reject the perpetuity of the law. We also saw how Adventism’s understanding of covenant theology most closely resembles the views held by the Reformers in category A. In today’s post, we will begin to explore in detail where Adventism fits in light of these systems. Do we have a covenant theology that is unheard of?
