New Pan-Serbian Choir links youth and community

It might seem impossible.  A group of young people brought together just a year ago from across Serbia with one aim, to form the LINK youth choir.  Yet their sincere enthusiasm and deep motivation is infectious, and despite obstacles of distance, age and temperament, the LINK choir is garnering success.

Adventist Church in Jamaica still mourning the loss of four young members

The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Jamaica is still mourning the loss of four of its young members after they drowned at sea last week.
Chavar Lewis, 31, and Duran Bryan, 30, of the church’s north region and, Joseph Anderson, 26, and Karanjah Gayle, 26, of the central region died at sea in two separate incidents one day apart.

Floating Church leads more than 200 people to baptism

Raimundo Andrade is a 66-year-old farmer living in Itapuru, 231 kilometers from Manaus, Brazil. This community can only be reached by traveling the river, and it was there that the Floating Church finished its activities this year.

Pathfinders unstoppable at Australian camporee

More than 2800 Pathfinders from across Australia started the new year with fun, friends and faith at the Australian Union Conference’s (AUC) fourth camporee.
Kicking off on January 1, the 119 clubs were warmly welcomed at the opening ceremony by AUC director of youth ministries Pastor Jeff Parker, who officially opened the camporee. Other special guests included SPD youth director Dr Nick Kross, AUC president Pastor Jorge Munoz, and Victorian Conference president Pastor Graeme Christian.
