Singing with Inspiration – Lesson 6: Adam and Jesus
Our memory text brings us our first hymns when is says, “we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ”: Hymn 466, “Wonderful Peace” and Hymn 463, “Peace, Perfect Peace” . The memory text goes on to remind us of the General Conference theme song Hymn 214, “We Have This Hope” . The introduction to this week tells us of Jesus blood being the foundation for all our hope: Hymn 294, “Power in the Blood” , and Hymn 184 , “Jesus Paid It All” . With our lesson studies having faith as a recurring theme, the hymns we have used frequently so far this quarter come back to us again this week: Hymn 517, “My Faith Looks up to Thee” , Hymn 523, “My Faith Has Found a Resting Place” , and Hymn 533, “O for a Faith”

Christ the Living Word
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14. Jesus is called the Word of God. He accepted His Father’s law, wrought out its principles in His life, manifested its spirit, and showed its beneficent power in the heart. November 6, 2017: A team of Southern Adventist University students and volunteers packed thousands of meals for families in the Caribbean that are recovering from natural disasters such as hurricanes Harvey and Irma. The nutrient-dense meals were packed on Sunday, November 5 in cooperation with the Feed My Starving Children foundation
