Maribel Aguilar was devastated when she was diagnosed with cancer. For the first time, she opened her heart to God. “I begged Him to help me defeat this cancer and to give me the opportunity to live. I made Him a promise,” the 39-years-old women said. “If He allowed me to live, I would serve Him until the last day of my life.” Maribel began to pray fervently for a divine miracle. Adventists in Belize run soup kitchen for needy school children

Tuesdays and Thursday are the highlight of the week for Melva Robinson. That’s because every Tuesday and Thursday for the last three years she has fulfilled her dream of sharing her love for children in her native country of Belize. Robinson has been able to provide thousands of meals to needy children studying at six elementary schools in the heart of Belize City, thanks to the committed financial support of Seventh-day Adventist Church members in the area.

Adventist Center of Influence opens in Battambang

On January 22, 2019, the Adventist church in Cambodia celebrated the inauguration of its very first center of influence in this major city of Battambang.

Adventist awarded Medal of the Order of Australia

Many years of service to his local community has seen an Adventist man recognized in the 2019 Australia Day honors.
Robert (Bob) Kalaf was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in recognition of his services to the Cooranbong (northern NSW) community, including building the Waratah Medical Center, and helping to establish the Cooranbong shopping village and Morisset industrial estate.
