Museum uses 50 thousand items to tell Pathfinders’ history

January 24, 2019 By admin

One of the main attractions at the fifth South American Pathfinder Camporee is a special booth dedicated to Pathfinder Club history. Thanks to donations from 56 countries, a collection of more than 50 thousand items from the Pathfinder International Museum is on display.
Among these objects are pictures, uniforms, and manuals, as well as 7,500 event patches—including nearly all Camporees conducted by the Adventist Church in South America. There are only five patches left to complete the…

Adventist Church in Inter-America embarks on mission to seek former church members

January 22, 2019 By admin

It’s no secret that people are leaving the church. This alarming fact has Seventh-day Adventist leaders in Inter-America focused on a major initiative to seek and reconcile thousands of former members across the more than 22,000 churches and congregations in the territory.
Coined as the Inter-American Division’s (IAD) “Ministry of Reclaiming and Discipleship of Former Members”, the initiative was officially launched through an online program on Jan. 12, 2019, from Miami, Florida.

NAD hosts first Religious Freedom Prayer Breakfast

January 22, 2019 By admin

According to the Pew Research Center, nearly 78 percent of the world’s population is unable to worship their God in whatever way they see fit.

They celebrated the freedoms enjoyed in the United States and prayed for guidance in further fostering and sharing it with others.
“We…

In Memoriam: Ellsworth Wareham, 104, was ‘Blue Zone’ pioneer and cardiologist

December 20, 2018 By admin
