Elizabeth Moses, affectionately known as Betty, was recently honored on her 100th birthday during a celebration that saw the Governor General of The Bahamas, local Seventh-day Adventist leaders and members at the Johnson Park Adventist Church in Nassau, Jan 5, 2019. Pathfinders shine for Jesus in New Zealand

After lots of preparation, fundraising and travel, 1300 excited Pathfinders and leaders from around the New Zealand Pacific Union Conference (NZPUC) gathered for five days of activities and worship in the White Rock hills.
Fifty-nine Pathfinder clubs, representing New Caledonia, French Polynesia, Cook Islands and the north and south islands of New Zealand, took part in the NZPUC Pathfinder Camporee held near Christchurch, South New Zealand.

Deadly tsunami killing hundreds in Indonesia prompts ADRA response

Days after a deadly tsunami hit the coastal towns near the Sunda Strait in Indonesia, local government officials reported 426 people are confirmed dead, 7,202 people injured, 23 are missing and 40,386 have been evacuated. These numbers continue to rise while rescue operations are still ongoing.

Sydney Adventist Hospital best in NSW for outpatient cancer services

Sydney Adventist Hospital’s outpatient cancer services are the best performing in NSW, according to a survey of more than 11,000 patients from 50 public and private clinics.
The Bureau of Health Information survey was released last week. In 25 of the measures surveyed the San’s Integrated Cancer Centre was “significantly more positive” than the NSW average.
