In Mexico, thousands of Adventists celebrate and train for small groups ministry

Nearly 5,000 Seventh-day Adventist small-group leaders across the Inter-Oceanic region of Mexico celebrated evangelism growth, strengthened their ministry and renewed their commitment to continuing to share the gospel in their communities, during a large gathering Aug. 17-18, 2018.

Adventist pastor loses family in tragic fire

A tragic fire claimed the lives of an Adventist pastor’s family during the early morning hours of Sunday, August 19. Ebenezer AtoKessie was away at camp-meeting when fire engulfed his house, killing his wife, two children, mother-in-law, and wife’s niece. The deceased are Grace Ampah, 65, Linda Kessie, 30, Precious Pokua, 9, and the 4-year-old and infant sons of the couple.
