ADRA seeks to help Greek fire victims
With more than eighty-five dead, hundreds injured, and more than 1,200 homes destroyed following deadly wildfires near Athens, Greece, ADRA is already working to provide support. The fires, thought to be the deadliest on record, broke out on Monday, 23 July 2018, with Mati in east Attica being the worst region affected.

Adventist Church in the Dominican Republic prays for nation as violence increases
Hundreds of Seventh-day Adventists recently gathered in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to pray for the escalating violence, crime and poverty affecting the nation. Church leaders spoke of the insecurity that is most concerning to Dominicans, in addition to the delinquency, unemployment and family violence during a day filled with prayer, music, study of the Bible, and community service on July 7, at the Balon Mano Pavillion at the Parque del Este.

ADRA Fiji trains community in home gardening
A two-day gardening workshop in Lautoka, Fiji, has shown participants the techniques for starting and improving home gardens.
Participants from communities in Nadi and Lautoka attended the workshop, which was a collaboration between the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) and the National Food and Nutrition Centre (NFNC).
