Hope Radio goes to air in Kirbati

The South Pacific’s newest Adventist Hope radio station has hit the airwaves, aimed at sharing the good news about Jesus to the residents of Kiribati.
The new station is located at the Kiribati Mission headquarters at Korobu, South Tarawa. On Monday, November 12, it went to air for the first time. Radio announcer Tarataake Angirio made the first transmission, later saying that it was an historic day for the Church.

Unprecedented numbers of migrants and refugees means new religious freedom challenges, say scholars

As the number of migrants and refugees worldwide continues to surge, a panel of scholars convened last month by the International Religious Liberty Association (IRLA) says more must be done to deal with related religious freedom challenges.

The North American Division (NAD) Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries (ACM) hosted its first ever ceremony in honor of Veterans Day entitled, “You Are Not Forgotten: A Salute to Veterans” on Saturday, November 10.

In Jamaica, Pathfinder Clubs to be added in public schools

The Ministry of Education in Jamaica is taking steps to allow the Seventh-day Adventist uniform group—the Pathfinders—to setup clubs in primary and high schools across the nation.
This announcement was made by Assistant Superintendent of Police Coleridge Minto with responsibility for safety in schools, who was representing the Education Minister, The Hon. Ruel Reid, during a service of installation for nearly 1,000 young people into the various uniform groups of the church.
