Members of the Seventh-day Adventist church family mourn all loss of life, but especially cry out against mass violence such as took place last night in Thousand Oaks, California, very close to our headquarters for the western United States, the Pacific Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

Adventists join in Kids Off Nauru call

Seventh-day Adventists were among a group of Australian Christians calling for the release of children held in immigration detention on Nauru.
The statement was made by participants at the Justice Conference at the Melbourne Town Hall on October 27.

Adventist Community Services mobilizes support efforts in wake of Typhoon Yutu

Devastation brought on by the year’s strongest storm to date, which slammed into the Northern Mariana Islands on October 24, activated response efforts by Adventist Community Services (ACS) in the North American Division’s Guam-Micronesia Mission. ADRA in Europe promotes greater wellbeing

European leaders from the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) met in Budapest, Hungary, October 22-2-5, to discuss and find new approaches to make a bigger impact around the world.  The aim was to accelerate the wellbeing of disadvantaged people and to build a stronger ADRA network.
