Students impact indigenous communities in mountainous region in North Mexico

Nearly 50 students, teachers, medical staff and volunteers from Montemorelos University, recently visited several indigenous communities in the mountainous region in the State of Chihuahua in North Mexico, sharing hope and giving out toys, blankets, clothing, bible books, and solar radios. The 300 solar radios, or godpods, included bible study lessons, songs and programs in the Rarámuris native language, and were donated by Adventist World Radio. Mail Company issues commemorative stamps for the 60th anniversary of Pathfinders in Brazil

Correios, a Brazilian mailing company, launched eight exclusive stamps for participants of the 5th South American Pathfinder Camporee recently held in Barretos, Sao Paulo. The series commemorates the 60th anniversary of the first Pathfinder Club in Brazil, established in 1959.

Balakovo Adventist community ends year with special thanksgiving service

The Balakovo Adventist Church in Russia’s Saratov region held a special thanksgiving service on December 30 to end the year with parishioners and community guests.  New Year’s is the time of summing up, when people look back and analyze the outgoing year and make plans for the future. The Balakovo community is grateful to God for all the blessings granted in 2018.
