New Adventist facility in El Salvador to provide shelter for families
A new facility recently completed by a local Seventh-day Adventist Church in El Salvador will provide overnight shelter to parents while they wait for their children during their in-patient care at a nearby hospital in the capital city of San Salvador.

In Jamaica, Adventists challenged to focus on the Church’s mission amid distractions
Adventist Church President in Jamaica Pastor Everett Brown challenged newly installed leaders in the North East Jamaica region to make the community and people their main object of the church’s mission.

School of Behavioral Health helping to expand Child Life service in China
A new School of Behavioral Health program offering pediatric nurses from the People’s Republic of China the opportunity to complete training as Child Life Specialists launched in Fall 2017. The new program is an outgrowth of a four-year series of education exchange visits the School of Behavioral Health faculty members and students have made to the Zhejiang University Children’s Hospital (ZUCH), introducing nurses there to the benefits and value of child life services.
