SSD Mission adventures 2 happens in Indonesia

Adventist young adults in the Southern Asia-Pacific region (SSD) teamed up with mission oriented young professionals from all across Indonesia, Myanmar, and the Philippines to experience the joy of service and the adrenaline rush of adventure during a week of volunteer work.  This year’s Mission Adventures trip is the second of its kind within the region designed to involve young volunteers and service-oriented individuals.

La Sierra University film student’s PBS, NAD projects aim for positive impact

Michelle Noland, a senior La Sierra University Film and Television Production major, recently launched into the world of professional storytelling where she is using her talents to impact others’ lives.
PBS affiliate KQED inked a distribution deal with Noland in August for inclusion of her award-winning short film “She Isn’t Here” in the nationwide series, “Film School Shorts.” The film, which is expected to be released in April 2019, explores the anxiety disorder agoraphobia.

Nuevo Tiempo TV Comes to Smart TVs through Global App

On June 1, 2017, Nuevo Tiempo signed a contract with Foxxum, the German international company that provides the app ecosystem (App Store) for certain brands of smart TVs. The company was tasked with creating  an app for Nuevo Tiempo to include TV signal, radio Nuevo Tiempo Chile signal, and videos content produced by Nuevo Tiempo Chile.

Former drug addicts make decisions for Christ

Former drug addicts were among 23 people who were baptized on November 25 at Kita Kore Seventh-day Adventist Church in Dei District of Western Highlights, Papua New Guinea.
The baptisms followed a two-week evangelistic series conducted by district director Pastor Andrew Jacob.
